Sam is a multi-instrumentalist, predominantly known for his work on the bass guitar and cello accompanying a variety of different artists in the UK and beyond.

His work on bass has taken him on tours around the UK and Europe, as well as festivals further afield such as SXSW in Austin, Montreux Jazz festival and Greenplugged, Seoul. TV & Radio experience include BBC Radio 1, Spotify, Box TV and The Russell Howard Hour on Sky One.

Sam is also an experienced and versatile cellist, comfortable playing in a variety of settings, whether a Sofar Sounds gig, a West End show, or in the concert hall with a live band. He enjoys collaborating with artists, arranging their songs to work with strings live or in the studio, whether solo cello, string quartet, or a larger ensemble.
